Michael McCabe, President of Elevate Technology Solutions, will address the 2015 Association of Old Crows (AOC) Symposium in Washington, DC on December 2, 2015. He will appear on a panel on the topic Human Capital – Our Greatest Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Resource.
The session description states, “We have an inadequate pipeline of skilled personnel for today and tomorrow’s EMS challenges. The US developed as the global leader in large part through the genius of scientist, engineers and innovators; and as a nation it’s more critical than ever that our youth be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems. Those skills are learned through the study of science, technology, engineering and math- STEM. Yet today we are losing proficiency in these vital fields. In this session we’re going to engage directly with thought leaders developing STEM solutions for our future.”
His presentation is: Addressing the Skills Gap Through STEM and the Human Capital Supply Chain.
The AOC International Symposium is designed for Spectrum Warfighters to obtain critical information to be able to make day-to-day decisions in their jobs – across Active-Duty Military, Government Civilians, Academia, and the vital Electronic Warfare (EW) Industrial Base both in the U.S., and abroad. It is no longer acceptable to do “business as usual.” This unique forum provides warfighters and industry partners the vital insights into EW strategies of today, and the technology developments of the future.
Chairing the session is Norm “Gump” Balchunas, USAF (Ret.), Elevate’s Senior Vice President and Government Practice Director.
